Playdate

Hayden had her first playdates this weekend, although I have to admit, they were more for the parents than the babies!

On Saturday, we visited my dear friend Katie at her sister Jenni's house. We got to visit with Jenni and John and their new son, Tilden. Tilden was just 4 weeks old, but as you can see from the picture, he's a big boy! He and Hayden are neck and neck for size, even though Hayden is 2 months his senior. It was great fun to see them, to trade new mom stories and to ooh and ahh over the cutie-pie little babies. Tilden slept most of our visit, but we're looking forward to getting together again soon and letting the little ones play!

On Sunday, we saw our good friends Tony and Sam and their son, Cooper. Cooper's 7 1/2 months old, but he dwarfs Hayden and Tilden! Cooper is a TALL boy! I didn't get any pictures snapped of him, unfortunately, but I have met many two year olds that aren't his height! He's just a sweet little doll, and looks so much like his daddy. He and Hayden enjoyed watching one another across the dinner table. She was transfixed by both Cooper and his dad - she just couldn't stop watching Tony, and would just grin and squeal when he'd look at her and smile!

All in all, it was a great weekend, seeing friends, hanging out, playing with the babies. All I need now is a fireplace, a cozy couch and a hot chocolate to cap it off with!
